Each installation requires a thoughtful evaluation of the space and utilization needs in order to choose the right solution to accurately cool and/or heat your home. What you should know:
- A standard one-to-one installation (one exterior unit operating one interior unit) is approximately $3500 installed including wiring of controls (this does vary depending on the complexity of the installation)
- One exterior unit can operate several interior units
- Installations are relatively minimal in the sense of disruption as only a small hole is needed through the exterior wall of your home or business
- A back-up source of heat is recommended for our coldest months as the units lowest temperature of operation is approximately -13 below zero
- A heat pump will increase your electrical usage
- Is an ideal solution if you have solar panels already in place or are considering them in the future
